Our goal at Wired Up Beads is to be the favorite destination for jewelry artists of every skill level.  Whether you’re just learning the craft or you’re a seasoned pro, Wired Up Beads has what you’re looking for – as well as a few surprises to get those creative juices flowing. 

 

WUB began as the dream of Patti Bullard.  Patti is an accomplished jewelry artist, who loves to teach.  She enjoys sharing tips, techniques and designs in wire-working, lampworking (making glass beads), and metal-smithing.

 
Nicknamed Dr. Patti by students and friends, she received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut.  She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist as well as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.  She completed her post-doctoral training in Pediatric Neuropsychology, and recently worked as a psychologist in a North Texas public school system.
 

These days, most of her time is spent thinking of ways to enhance the customer experience at Wired Up Beads.  It is her passion that has made WUB much more than just a tool and bead store.

 

Wired Up Beads also developed WUBBERS, a line of tools designed especially for jewelry makers.  These tools are available on our site, and at select retail locations throughout North America and Canada.
